Fourth of July!

Wow, Granny.....your hair looks especially nice today. Do you like my dress? I wore it to church at Woodland where we visited to honor Papa at a special service for those who served in the Armed Services. My Papa was a Marine in World War II, and he's still a Marine today! HOOWAAH!

We hung out with lots of friends on Independence Day evening, and I saw my first fireworks. That is Miss Amy holding me.....Mommy calls her Tink for some reason.

There's nothing quite like sleeping on Mommy's chest....I love dreaming about sugar plums and fairies!

Blowing Rock! 3 Months Old!!!

Where's my Mommy Di?? Where is she??

There she is!! She was hiding! Silly Mommy Di....this was at my grandparents' cabin in Blowing Rock, and Grandfather Mountain is somewhere in the background. I guess that's where Papah went to get some diapers for me.

I am three months old, and ready for the world!! Or maybe I'm just ready for another feeding, I'm not sure right now.

I asked Daddy if this dress made me look a little pudgy, and he just walked away. Mommy says he does the same thing with her...

My cousins Lorna and Hunter are the nicest brother and sister I know. Maybe Mommy and Daddy will give me a little brother one day. Right Mommy? Hello? Daddy? Oh no, he left again! Mommy says that I rolled over last night for the first time, and that I'll probably be crawling and getting into everything soon. Hee Hee!

Father's Day Celebrations & Maddi Bea's Here!

Mommy and Daddy dedimicated me to God at Westover Church today, on the 100th anniversary of Father's Day! Granny and Papa, Nana, Mommy Di and Papah, and Unkie Jay and Aunt Erica came to see me get up in front of the church with Mommy and Daddy! Pastor Don prayed for our family, and I was a little bit fussy because two other kids got to be dedimicated before me. I sure hope I grow into this dress, because it drags the floor when I walk around....

OK, I really do like my Aunt Stacey--I was just SO tired after my big morning. She surprised me with a visit and worked so hard helping with lunch for everyone (all the people I mentioned before, PLUS Aunt Lori, Uncle Scotty and my cousins Lorna and Hunter.

This is my new bestest friend Madeline Bea, but I call her Maddi. She was born on Father's Day to Mommy and Daddy's friends Glenn and Carli.

Holy Cow!! She's beautiful! I can't wait to have play dates and talk about icky boys with you, Maddi!!

My 1st Wedding & Visit from Grandpa & Nini

6/18 Aunt Patti's quilt - 1st time I slept thru the night- 11 weeks old! Mommy and Daddy are happier than I've ever seen them before, and they don't yawn nearly as much anymore...

6/12 My 1st wedding - Cousin Ryan & Jessica Garner. Daddy danced with me to "My Girl," and I almost caught the bouquet but Daddy put a body block on me so some other girl could have it.

6/8 Can you find me in the middle of all of my friends? - 10 weeks old tomorrow!

6/6 - Grandpa Chick and Nini Nancy visit. We had so much fun, and Grandpa fed me some sweets when Mommy and Daddy weren't looking....

2 Months Old!

5-27 Peek a boo...all clean for my doctors appointment.

Today I had my 2 month checkup and I have gained 41 oz in the last 30 days! I now weigh 11 lbs 9 oz and I'm over 23 inches!

Plus look how big my feet have gotten!

5-24 I'm exactly 2 months old today! Happy month day to me!

5-8 Happy 1st Mother's Day Mommy! That's the baptistry at my church, Westover in Greensboro. Daddy said the water is warm, but I forgot my bathing suit so I guess I'll have to try it out some other time.
